SuffolkNews Podcast: Woman stabbed on Howard Estate in Bury St Edmunds and man arrested
In today’s podcast, a 58-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was stabbed in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called just after 10.25pm yesterday to reports that a woman had been stabbed in St Olaves Road.
The woman, in her 50s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment, where her condition is described as stable.

Also, a cyclist has called for safety improvements at a mini-roundabout in Haverhill where he was fortunate to escape serious injury – or worse – after being knocked off his bike by a car.
Jack Tappin was left with several cuts, massive bruising and torn back muscles after being sent flying into the oncoming lane as he turned right from Bumpstead Road into Sturmer Road at the junction’s mini-roundabout when the accident happened.

Ex-students, teachers and friends have been invited to ‘bid farewell’ to their ‘beloved’ school that is closing at the end of this academic year.
