Could Bury St Edmunds drivers be facing more traffic chaos tomorrow due to A143 Compiegne Way and Rougham Road issues?

Drivers coming into and out of a Suffolk town could face even more chaos and queues tomorrow as work is set to begin on one route whilst another could still be closed due to flooding.

With the A143 Compiegne Way shut since Sunday due to flooding, Rougham Road in Bury St Edmunds, will have a lane closed tomorrow, until January 22, due to Suffolk County Council work.

Though the footway reconstruction work is from Southgate Green to the A14, a lane closure could add more woes to drivers.
