A husband and wife from Suffolk have won a life-changing amount of money on ITV’s Limitless Win.

Helen and Charlie, from the Bury St Edmunds area, won £1 million after appearing on the game show hosted by Ant and Dec on Saturday night.

The episode will go down in history as it is the largest sum of money the show has ever given away.

The couple played a very strong game throughout the programme and the question worth £1 million was – ‘2024 marks how many years since Blur beat Oasis to the UK number one spot with the song Country House?’.

As a fan of both bands, Charlie knew the answer to the question was 29 years as he remembered going to a Blur concert in 1995 during his time in university.

The winning couple said they wanted to spend the money to go to Hawaii where they had enjoyed their honeymoon – but they would like to take their children with them this time.

After winning, Charlie said: “It literally changes everything.”
