Weird and Wonderful Wood festival picks up prize for Best Festival in East Anglia

Organisers of Weird and Wonderful Wood are celebrating after picking up its Best Festival in East Anglia award.

The team behind the popular festival, showing the many aspects of wood and wood workers at Haughley Park in Wetherden, near Stowmarket, was crowned the Best Festival in Suffolk and the whole of East Anglia in a public vote.

The East Anglian Festival Network presented the team’s trophy at Bacton Village Hall on Saturday.
