SuffolkNews Podcast: Newly-promoted football team names former Haverhill Rovers boss as manager
In today’s podcast, we have news that newly-promoted AFC Sudbury have appointed former Haverhill Rovers and St Neots Town boss, Marc Abbott, as their new manager.
The 37-year-old succeeds Rick Andrews, who walked out on the club following its promotion due to frustrations about the budget he would have to work with.

Also, a former Special Constabulary stalwart has died aged 72.
Andrew Veal, of Stanningfield, Bury St Edmunds, died on Sunday 4th June. He stood down as a Special after 26 years in 2003.

And finally, a driver who allegedly used a friend’s car has had their own vehicle seized.
Officers reported the driver was insured to drive other’s cars on their own policy, but the vehicle pulled over in Mildenhall yesterday hadn’t been insured since April.
