More than 100 trees were brought down as high winds battered Suffolk yesterday.
An amber weather alert for wind was in place for most of yesterday as Storm Henk swept through Suffolk.
A number of roads were closed throughout the day – either becoming impassable due to flooding, or blocked by fallen trees due to the ‘excessive winds’.
Suffolk Highways has said that it received more than 100 reports of fallen trees across the county.
It continues to attend incidents this morning.
A spokesman for the authority urged motorists to drive with care.
