Snow and ice warning issued for parts of Suffolk including Lowestoft and Beccles

The Met Office has issued a snow and ice warning for parts of Suffolk as the cold snap continues.

A yellow weather warning for the north of the county, including Lowestoft and Beccles, has been put in place between 7am and midnight .

As a result, people travelling today have been warned they may face some disruption.

Some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services

The rest of Suffolk is expected to avoid the snow.
