Channel 4 property star Phil Spencer presents Bury St Edmunds estate agents, Mark Ewin, with gold award

A Bury St Edmunds estate agency has won a top spot in Britain’s biggest property awards.

Mark Ewin, based in St John's Street, won a Gold award for the East of England at the prestigious ESTAS Customer Service Awards 2023.

The winners were announced at Grosvenor House, London, in front of 1,000 guests, by TV property presenter Phil Spencer.

The awards, which this year celebrated their 20th birthday, are based on the ESTAS customer review platform.

This year’s results were calculated from more than 300,000 customer reviews.

Mark Ewin said “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised in this year’s ESTAS.

“It means so much to us as we know it’s our customers who have judged our performance.

“We take our levels of customer service very seriously because we know clients have a choice.

“We have always been very proud of the personal service and this proves we are delivering what we promise.”

Phil Spencer, who hosts Channel 4 property show Location, Location, Location, has hosted the awards since its launch in 2003.

He said: “Everyone one shortlisted here today has attained the ESTAS standard of edxcellence which is based purely on service ratings from customers.

“This gives a highly accurate overview of the standard of service that’s been delivered to the end client.

“This is a great achievement in its own right, and everyone should be proud.”

Estate and letting agents were recognised by regions and post code around the UK.
