Cartoonist John Elson casts his eye over the week's news
The start of the school summer holiday sparked the interest of Bury Free Press cartoonist John Elson this week.
John obviously has some sympathy for grandparents charged with looking after youngsters during the break while parents work.
Here's John's take:
John, a self-taught artist, has been drawing cartoons for newspapers for nearly 20 years.
He draws digitally using a stylus and large art tablet. His cartoon today is sponsored by specialist insurers The Assist Group.
He also attends festivals, weddings and corporate events drawing live caricatures.
Visit John's Facebook page to see more of his work.
Or see his cartoons first in the Bury Free Press every Friday.
