A14 slip road closed outside Ipswich at Copdock Interchange due to fallen tree





A slip road on the A14 westbound outside a Suffolk town has been closed after a tree fell into the road.

The exit ramp at the Copdock Interchange westbound outside Ipswich at junction 55 has been closed as the tree was covering all three lanes of the slip road.

According to the AA traffic map, there is slow traffic in the area both ways from junction 54 in Sproughton to junction 55.

Police were called at 4.15pm and Suffolk Highways arrived at 5.30 to deal with the incident.
