Delays on A14 near Stowmarket after collision at Haughley New Street
Drivers heading into work this morning were faced with delays after a collision, just off the A14, caused disruption around Stowmarket.
Suffolk Police were called to Haughley New Street shortly before 8am, following a two vehicle collision.
The vehicles involved were moved to the side of the road and an ambulance was called to the scene, however it was later stood down.
One person experiencing back pain following the collision, made their own way to hospital.
There are currently ongoing lane closures on the A14, as National Highways prepare to start removing and reconstructing the concrete road surface between Haughley (junction 47a) and Tothill (junction 49).
Queueing traffic was reported on the A14 westbound between junction 50 at Stowupland and junction 49 at Stowmarket - causing delays of 20 minutes.
