B1106 near Brandon closed with police, fire and ambulance services in attendance after two-vehicle crash

A popular route in Suffolk has been closed with emergency services at the scene following a serious two-vehicle crash.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on the B1106 near Brandon, between the A11 Elveden Bypass Road and Green Road.

The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for some time.

Officers were called to the incident at about 5.40pm today, with Suffolk Fire and Rescue as well as an ambulance crew also in attendance.

Suffolk Police are advising motorists to use an alternative route.
