A14 driver going the wrong way near Bury St Edmunds hunted by police





Six police cars hunted a vehicle driving the wrong way on the A14 near a Suffolk town in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were alerted to an SUV driving the wrong way near Bury St Edmunds on the major route at 2.14am.

According to a spokesperson for Suffolk Police, the car was not located and likely came off the A14 onto the A142 outside Exning, near Newmarket.

Police, including officers from the Forest Heath area and Bury St Edmunds, resumed normal service at 2.53am.
