A12 Blythburgh crash: Man in 20s dies after crash involving motorcycle and van

A man has died after a crash on the A12 in Blythburgh yesterday evening.

Emergency services were called to the road just before 7.30pm to reports of a crash involving a motorbike and a stationary van, near the A145 junction.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.

The road was closed to allow officers to conduct initial investigations into the cause of the collision and reopened at around 2:50am this morning.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
