Brandon B1106 crash: Deaths of London couple Dilipan and Dorota Sebastiampillai to be investigated as inquest opened

The deaths of a London couple following a crash in Brandon will be investigated in an inquest planned for later this year.

Dilipan Sebastiampillai, 43 and from Sri Lanka, and his wife Dorota, 41 and from Poland, died on April 15 on the B1106 after the Nissan Note Mr Sebastiampillai was driving crashed with a Jeep Cherokee.

The inquests into their deaths was formally opened at Suffolk Coroner’s Court today, where the crash was described as ‘head-on’ and their injuries described as ‘unsurvivable’.

A criminal investigation is still underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

An internal case review will take place on October 25, while the inquest is scheduled for December 6.
