Fire crews called to Guildhall Street, in Bury St Edmunds, after property fire





Crews are fighting a fire at a property in a Suffolk town.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called at 1pm about the blaze in Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds.

Two engines attended with one 45ml jet used.

The road was blocked by engines at the time.

The fire was in the first floor of the property, and is believed to have been started by an electric blanket.

A stop was issued at 2.33pm.
