Suffolk Fire and Rescue crews called to HMP Highpoint South, near Haverhill, after cell fire

Fire crews were called to a cell fire at a Suffolk prison this morning (December 30).
Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called about the blaze in a cell at 8.08am in HMP Highpoint South, near Haverhill.
Four engines were dispatched to the scene, from Clare, Haverhill, Wickhambrook and Bury St Edmunds.
By the time crews arrived at the scene the fire was out, and they were no longer required.
