Lowestoft firefighters rescue person stuck in water-filled ditch in Christmas Lane, Oulton

Firefighters rescued a person from a water-filled ditch in the early hours on New Year’s Day.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 2.10am to the incident in Christmas Lane, Oulton, near Lowestoft.

Two crews from Lowestoft South attended after reports of someone stuck in a ditch.

They said one male was rescued from a water-filled ditch.

The incident was dealt with by 2.26am.
