Bury St Edmunds crews treat pair of tortoises following Parkington Walk shed fire

A pair of Suffolk fire crews attended a shed fire yesterday evening and ended up having to treat two interesting animals during the incident.

Crews from Bury St Edmunds were alerted and mobilised to a property in Parkington Walk at 6.36pm.

The crews found the shed on fire and whilst using a hose reel to put out the fire and thermal imaging cameras, they also treated two casualties and a pair of tortoises.

The incident call finished at 8.11pm.
