Missing Ipswich Codfellas owner Osman Bozdag found after three days

The search for a missing fish and chip shop owner has come to a close as he was found after three days.

Osman Bozdag, 36, who owns Ipswich Codfellas in Chantry, went missing after last being spotted in Norwich Road on at 9.30am on January 7.

He was found safe earlier this afternoon in the town.

A Suffolk police spokesperson said he is currently being treated by medical professionals.

Officers thanked the media and public for their help in locating him.

Andy Martin, Superintendent for the Ipswich area, said: “I’d like to express my thanks for everyone’s help and concern with not just the physical searches for Mr Bozdag but also the sharing of the appeal on social media as well.

“I am very conscious that he is a well loved and well liked member of the Ipswich community so it is with great relief to everyone that he has now been found.”
