Roydon, near Diss collision between car and mobility scooter seriously injures man
A man has been seriously injured after his mobility scooter was struck by a car.
Emergency services were called at 5.20pm on Wednesday to reports of a collision between a black Renault Megane and a mobility scooter.
The incident happened on the A1066 Diss Road in Roydon, near to the Tottington Lane junction as the Megane was travelling east towards Diss.
The rider of the mobility scooter, a man in his 90s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dash cam footage and haven’t already spoken to police officers at the scene.
The road has reopened this morning.
