Bury St Edmunds shoplifter who stole £200 worth of LEGO jailed for 12 weeks





A Bury St Edmunds shoplifter who stole £200 worth of LEGO has been jailed for 12 weeks.

Jake Cambridge, 29, of Northgate Street, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 15 where he admitted theft from a shop.

On November 10, he stole LEGO, to the value of £200, belonging to Starlings.

He was jailed for three weeks and ordered to pay £154 victim surcharge.

The theft was committed during a suspended sentence order, which was activated in full for nine weeks.

The total imprisonment was 12 weeks.
