MyWISH Soapbox Derby revs up for a Saturday full of fun in Bury St Edmunds

Soapboxes of all shapes and sizes will be lining up on the grid to compete in this year’s My WiSH Charity Soapbox Challenge.

The free event is taking place today (Saturday) in Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds, between 11am and 3pm.

Spectators will see teams pitting their skills against each other in a bid to win one the four trophies up for grabs for Best Soapbox, Best Presentation, Fastest Time and Best Fundraiser.

A Soapbox City will be set up in the grounds of Priory School where you can see the soapboxes up close and peruse the teams’ promotional stands. There will also be food available.

So get your flags ready and get set to enjoy some fast-paced fun.
