Bury St Edmunds housing estate residents treated to surprise aerobatics display from nearby wedding.

An impromptu mini air display delighted late summer audiences in one area of Suffolk.

The skies over Moreton Hall, to the east of Bury St Edmunds, were lit up with a solo pilot performing aerobatics.

Delighted residents enjoying their gardens took to social media to post their thoughts.

One of those sharing video of the impressive pilot skills was Kathleen Andrews, who shared a video on Moreton Hall Voice.

“It was fantastic to watch,” she told Suffolk News.

Other users on Facebook said the impressive display was for a wedding taking place at Rougham Tower Museum.

Regular flying from Rougham Airfield’s flight school ended earlier this summer after the school’s lease was not renewed.
