County Lines drug dealer is jailed for 29 months
A 23-year-old man has been jailed in connection with drug dealing offences in Ipswich.
Rawa Ibrahim, of Avondale Drive, Hayes, West London, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court today.
He was sentenced to 29 months imprisonment. He had pleaded guilty of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.
Following a search warrant at Ibrahim’s home on June 19, he was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. A mobile phone, suspected of being used to run a County drug dealing Line in Suffolk, was recovered.
Ibrahim was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and charged the following day.
Data downloaded from the phone found that from November 29, 2022, until June 19 this year it was used by Ibrahim to operate a county line known as Marlow. This drugs business supplied crack cocaine and heroin in the Ipswich area, facilitating the sale of Class A drugs to local drug users by repeatedly sending bulk SMS text messages to potential buyers.
