Foxhall Road in Ipswich closed by Suffolk Highways following crash between a Jaguar and a Mitsubishi on Boxing Day





An air ambulance was called to a two-vehicle collision between a Jaguar and a Mitsubishi on Boxing Day.

Police were called at around 12.50pm yesterday, December 26, to reports of a crash between the two vehicles in Foxhall Road, Ipswich.

A police spokeswoman said Foxhall Road was blocked both ways and confirmed the air ambulance and East of England Ambulance service also attended.

The spokeswoman added: “Three people sustained injuries but these are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.

“One person was taken to hospital by land ambulance.”

According to the AA traffic map part of Foxhall Road is still shut to drivers following the collision, which took place close to the entrance of Foxhall Stadium.

This afternoon, Wednesday, December 27, a spokesman for Suffolk Highways said a team would be on site later today to clear the road so it can be reopened.
