Firefighters called to digger on fire in Lambseth Street, Eye

Emergency crews were called to reports of a digger that was on fire in a Suffolk town.

The incident was at around 11.15am, in Lambseth Street, on a wasteland near the fire station in Eye.

Crews from Diss, Eye and Needham Market tackled the blaze using two hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus.

There are no reported injuries.

The incident was dealt with in 40 minutes, at 11.47am.
