Broken down car on A140 outside Wetheringsett between Eye and Stowmarket causing traffic delays

A broken down vehicle is causing delays on a busy route outside a village this morning.

Police were called at 7.21am today to reports of a broken down Citroen van on the A140 near Cedars Hill, outside Wetheringsett, heading towards Eye.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said two police units are on their way to the scene of the incident.

According to the AA traffic map, there is very slow traffic on the route.
