Bury St Edmunds shoppers catch clear glimpse inside much anticipated Primark store

Perceptive shoppers caught a clear glimpse inside the much anticipated Primark store set to open in Bury St Edmunds later this year.

The photo was taken from outside the front doors of the shop and shows the progress being made inside.

The 33,300 sq ft store in the arc Shopping Centre is set to open in March on the ground and first floors of the former Debenhams.

The retailer will be recruiting more than 100 new staff for roles including retail assistants, stockroom colleagues, and visual merchandisers, with start dates as early as February to help prepare the store for the big opening.

The exact opening date will be confirmed nearer the time.

A 228 seat, three screen Everyman Cinema is also due to welcome customers early this year when it launches in the basement of the empty department store.
