Dan’s Coach Travel cancels services between Diss and Stowmarket due to flooding from Storm Henk
A coach service company has cancelled its service between two town’s today due to the flooding.
Dan’s Coach Travel has taken the decision to cancel its 457 service between Diss and Stowmarket.
In a Facebook post, it said: “After what has been a disastrous morning on schools with floods and A14 issues, we have taken the decision to cancel 457 Stowmarket to Diss service today.
“The roads are dangerous and we will not risk our passengers safety or our vehicles. Sorry everyone.”
The A14 was closed both east and westbound, between Stowmarket and Needham Market, this morning after a lorry crashed into a central reservation.
Many roads across Suffolk have been closed due to Storm Henk’s heavy rainfall.
There are also six flood warnings due to high river levels, but the recent yellow weather warning for Suffolk has now been lifted.
