Hundreds of homes around Bungay left without power

Hundreds of homes on the Norfolk/Suffolk border are facing power issues.
UK Power Networks is investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault in the Bungay area, including Flixton, Ilketshall St Margaret and Mettingham.
It was made aware of the issue at 2.35am.
Engineers have arrived on site.
A spokesman for the firm said: “Engineers in our control room have switched some customers power back on in your area.
“To get everyone’s power back on we may need to attend to investigate and make repairs. We’ll continue to update you until everyone’s power is back on.”
The authority does not know when power will be back on for everyone.
