Lochace Limited, which trades as the Bomfords Group, in Harleston, near Beccles and Eye, files notice of intention to appoint administrator

A haulage firm on the Suffolk and Norfolk border has started the process of administration by filing a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.

Lochace Limited, which trades as the Bomfords Group, based in Speedwell Way, Harleston, near Beccles and Eye, filed the notice with the courts on December 19.

Bomfords has a fleet of 70 heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and 140 trailers based across three sites, one of which is Airfield Works, in Diss, where it has 20 HGVs.

In 2020, Bomfords Group announced the acquisition of Star Transport and Warehousing, in Brunel Way, Thetford by its parent company Howell Gordon Limited.
