See inside Inflata Nation, at Cardinal Park, Ipswich, former home of Unit 17
An inflatable ball park will open tomorrow at the site of a former night club, and SuffolkNews has been provided with a sneak peek inside.
Inflata Nation, which will occupy the former home of Unit 17, in Cardinal Park, Ipswich, will welcome the public to its 400,000 ball plus park for the first time on Saturday.
The park will feature a range of activities, including super slides, games, obstacle courses and attractions.
The pictures show the signature-coloured balls officially going into the area ahead of welcoming the first customers this weekend.
Inflata Nation co-founder Matt Ball said: “We are thrilled to be finally opening in Ipswich and can’t wait to see the smiles on faces when people get their first chance to experience this fantastic inflatable arena.
“The main difference between Ipswich and our other sites across the UK is the sheer number of balls - around 418,000 as we counted them in.
“It makes for a unique experience and one we are sure will be a huge hit with families in the town and the surrounding area. As a parent myself, I know how difficult it can be to plan a fun day for all the family. That’s especially true when the weather is as unsettled as it has been recently.
"Inflata Nation Ipswich has everything you need under one roof to keep kids - both young and old - entertained and leaving with huge grins on their faces.”
Ticket prices for the venue have also been confirmed, with a discounted price for under-fours at £6.99, whilst it will be £13.99 for all others.
Inflata Nation will also be running disability friendly sessions and ‘Inflata Tots’ classes.
In May last year, the Southport-based company gained permission to transform the former Unit 17 in Cardinal Park into an inflatable play area for families, and workers were spotted at the site this week.
The site had been a nightclub since at least 1999, and was previously Liquid & Envy.
