Bury St Edmunds residents may be without water after burst main





Residents in and around a Suffolk town may currently have no water due to a burst main.

Anglian Water reported on its website that customers in Bury St Edmunds could have no water and low pressure after the fault.

The incident was reported at 10.46am.

The Marham Park and Moreton Hall estates have both been affected, with the incident map stretching out towards the Rougham Industrial Estate.

In a statement on its website Anglian Water said: “We’re really sorry but some customers in Bury and surrounding areas may have no water and/or low pressure.

“This is being caused by a burst main.

“We’re working hard to get your water supply back to normal as soon as possible.”

There is a forecast restoration time of 6pm.
