Flood warning still in place in Suffolk for the River Waveney from Diss to Bungay





A flood warning from the Environment Agency is still in place for parts of Suffolk.

The warning has been issued for the River Waveney from Diss to Bungay, with the riverside areas the most at risk in Homersfield, Needham Mill, Brockdish and Scole.

Businesses and homes in the north of the county have been warned following the recent wet weather.

A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "River levels are currently high, but are expected to start to drop back down over the next few days.

"The weather forecast is improving, and we expect levels to start returning to normal soon.

"The forecast is for predominantly dry conditions for the next few days with some isolated showers possible."
