Crews called to Bury Road, Little Saxham, near Saxham Business Park and Bury St Edmunds, to rescue woman stranded in vehicle trapped in flood water

Fire crews have rescued a woman trapped in her vehicle under a railway bridge.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called about the incident in Bury Road, Little Saxham, near Saxham Business Park and Bury St Edmunds.

Crews assisted with removing the woman from the vehicle, with police also being made aware of the incident.

Recovery for the vehicle has been arranged.

The road has been flagged as impassable by Highways.
