Two people taken to West Suffolk Hospital after B1106 crash in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds and Fornham All Saints

Two people were taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash in a Suffolk village.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the B1106 Mill Road in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds, at just before 5.30pm yesterday.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said those in the car - a man and a woman - were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

One person suffered a head injury.

Three ambulances were sent to the scene of the incident as well as three fire crews.
