Firefighters from Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket alerted to fire in skip inside large shed in Great Saxham

Three crews were called to a fire in a skip inside a large shed.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 3.15pm to the incident in Barrow Road, Great Saxham.

A spokesman said two crews from Bury St Edmunds attended as well as one from Newmarket.

They wore breathing equipment and extinguished the fire using a hose reel.

The incident was dealt with by 3.53pm.
