Delays warning on A1088, close to the A14, between Elmswell and Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds, for weeks due to roundabout construction





Motorists have been warned of potential delays for more than seven weeks due to roadworks between two villages.

The one.network has listed traffic lights on the A1088, near the A14, between Elmswell and Woolpit, from January 8 until February 28.

It said the works are for the construction of a new roundabout for Hopkins Homes for the Bury Road Development.

Works include drainage, new carriageway construction, removal of existing carriageway, surfacing, road markings, street lighting signage and landscaping.

It said delays were likely.
