Needham Market popular venue The Limes Bar and Hotel set to reopen
A popular bar, hotel and restaurant which has been closed for six years is set to reopen with a brother and sister team at the helm.
The Limes Bar and Hotel in High Street, Needham Market, has been taken on by Ashley Sagnella, 33, and Nicole Sagnella, 35, after the venue shut in 2017.
The siblings have been in negotiations to take on the establishment since January.
They have since been able to give the hotel a major revamp with a new bar, toilets and decor while the majority of the building’s wooden characteristics have been left in place.
Ashley, who also runs The Three Tuns pub, said: “We’re very excited - we just want to get it open and show everyone what we’ve done so far.
“It’s just really exciting to offer this in the town again and we’re hoping to utilise our function room all year round with different events.”
The Limes will be opening its doors on Saturday, July 22 from 5pm for the grand reopening and will offer customers complimentary canapés, champagne and live entertainment.
It will also be open on Sunday for drinks and then will offer food by Monday, July 24.

The newly refurbished function room backs onto a large garden and car park and is available for birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, wakes and other events.
The grade II listed building was a popular wedding venue before its closure - however, Nicole is looking forward to bringing the hotel back to its former glory.
Nicole said: “It used to be a big part of Needham Market and we’re just really happy to bring this back for people.
“When we first announced we were taking it over, we had so many messages saying how great it is - a lot of people have really wonderful memories here and I know a couple who actually got engaged here, so they’re really looking forward to it reopening.
“It’s a massive adventure for the both of us and I think we’ve got the potential to make something really incredible.”
