A new psychological thriller, filmed in Suffolk, is now available to watch on Netflix, following filming in the county in 2021.
Starring Salem actor, Ashley Madekwe, parts of the film called The Strays, were shot in Lavenham and Kersey, near Sudbury.
Screen Suffolk were responsible for finding and managing some of the key locations in the fictional English suburb called Castle Combe.
They worked with Lavenham and Kersey Parish Council's and Suffolk Highways to partially close the main square in Lavenham, and Kersey High Street whilst filming was taking place.
Jim Horsfield, from Screen Suffolk said: "We have a fantastic range of beautiful villages in Suffolk and we were delighted when the location manager contacted us to find locations that could be the fictional village of Castle Combe.
"After visiting numerous villages within the babergh district they decided to use Lavenham due to its other worldly look and Kersey which was also used as a main location for the Anthony Horowitz drama ‘Magpie Murders’ which will be aired on the BBC later this year."
