Tom Skinner from the Apprentice brings his Bosh Market stall to Bury St Edmunds market





Shoppers in a Suffolk market town had a surprise this morning when a popular social media star popped up selling everything from champagne flutes to flat caps.

Tom Skinner, who found fame after appearing on BBC show the Apprentice has enjoyed meeting fans on Bury St Edmunds market, as he ‘tried to nick a few quid’.

Skinner, known for his catchphrase ‘bosh’, and his love of West Ham United said: “I had a friend who worked on Bury market years ago – so I thought I we would give it a go.”

He set up his Bosh Market stall outside Superdrug – selling clearance items including bears, cleaning wipes and trainers.

Skinner said lots of shoppers had recognised him: “It is a beautiful town with lovely people and hopefully we can nick a few quid.”

“I have worked on market stalls since I was 13, it’s in my blood.”

On Thursday, August 31, he visited Sudbury market.

Skinner is keen to support traditional markets, explaining: “It is good to support your local market and it is cheaper than the shops.”
