As freezing temperatures hit Suffolk, the Met Office has issued a weather warning for ice in parts of the county.

A 12-hour warning for ice from 3pm today to 3am tomorrow has been issued, with the warning covering Haverhill, Sudbury, Ipswich and Felixstowe.

A cold weather alert, issued by the UK Health Security Agency, is currently in place until Friday, January 12, following days of heavy rain.

Forecasters are warning that ice and snow could lead to slippery surfaces.
