A146 in Barnby, near Beccles, reopens following two-vehicle collision

A key road in a Suffolk village has reopened following a two-vehicle collision.

In a social media post at 1.07pm, Suffolk Police said the A146 in Barnby, near Beccles, was closed.

One of the vehicles caught fire, according to a spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.

Everyone was out of their vehicles.

Motorist were advised to use an alternative route.

At 4.15pm, a police spokesman said the A146 had reopened.
