Needham Market resident Andy Northcote raised over £6,000 for mental health charity Suffolk Mind as part of the endeavour.

The attempt was part of a series of challenges undertaken by Mr Northcote, all for the same cause.

These include running a mile every day for 100 days, and taking part in the Paris Marathon.

Mr Northcote said: “This challenge has been extremely tiring, but the support I’ve received through volunteer bowlers, donations and sponsorships, has been overwhelming.”

The fundraising page for Mr Northcote’s feat can be found on Suffolk Mind’s website.
