Stowmarket coffee shop Pickwicks sets up closing down sale after 29 years of business

A town centre café is closing down and giving away all of its equipment for low prices.

Pickwicks in The Old Fox Yard, Stowmarket, has served customers for 29 years with hot drinks, breakfasts, home-made scones and daily roast dinners.

Prices range from 50p for glasses up to £50 for a table with two chairs.

There are also mugs, plates, bowls and cutlery available which is all being sold between 50p to £2.

The coffee shop is due to close once all contents have been sold.

Neighbouring business, Modece Architects, took to social media to promote the space to new businesses in the area.

The company is looking to expand the Old Fox Yard’s creative quarter alongside independent bar Pallet and artistic hub Fox Yard Studio.
