Baby Ottilia was born at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds on Christmas Day 2023

Three babies made a Christmas Day arrival at a Suffolk hospital – with midwives calling them the best present.

Baby Ottilia was the third baby to be born at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds at 12.04pm on December 25.

Ottilia, weighing 9lbs, 2.5oz, was born to proud mum Alex and went home the same day to meet her big sister.

Posting a photo on Facebook of Ottilia, wearing a festive hat, West Suffolk Maternity said: “The best Christmas present. Welcome to the world to this gorgeous Christmas pudding. A gorgeous girl.”

The post, shared on Christmas Day, continued: “We also wish a big thank you to all our staff working across the unit today – we appreciate all that you do for the women in your care.”
