A West Suffolk Maternity Facebook post said: “Congratulations on your new arrival, and we hope he grows up to love that fireworks announce his birthday every year.

“Whilst midwives Febby and Lydia had the privilege of delivering Teddy, a full team of staff have been awake all night caring for women and their families.

“A big thank you to all of the staff across Labour Suite, the Birthing Unit, F11, theatres and the midwives on call in community, for all that you do for the families in your care.”
