Six people arrested in Ipswich town centre in connection with suspected cannabis factory

Six people have been arrested in connection with a suspected cannabis factory in a Suffolk town.

Police are in Ipswich town centre and made the arrests after attending a property in Arcade Street at about noon today.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and members of the public can expect to see a large police presence in the area for the next few hours.

Officers ask anyone who knows anything about the incident or has seen any suspicious behaviour, to contact Ipswich Police, quoting CAD111 of today (Friday, January 12) via the website.

Alternatively, call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
