Australian entertainment legend Jason Donovan has announced he will be performing in Bury St Edmunds in 2025.
The 1980s soap icon and music heartthrob will be at The Apex for two nights as part of his Doin’ Fine 25 tour, celebrating his 35-year career in music, theatre, television and film.
It arrives in Bury on March 24 and 25.
He said: "I am really excited about this tour.
“My musical journey has been an incredible ride and I can't wait to celebrate it by performing the songs that have been such an important part of my life and career."
Jason shot to fame in Neighbours, before his debut single Nothing Can Divide Us hit the UK charts in 1988 and his duet with Kylie – Especially for You topped the charts.
He swapped the charts for London’s West End, taking on the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1991 production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
He has gone on to star in shows including The Rocky Horror Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Priscilla, The Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, Jeff Wayne’s The War Of The Worlds and Grease.
